A class just for you.
Over the course of my career one of the things I've heard the most is,
"I would LOVE to do that but....". Having been a dancer for nearly a decade, I've come across several types of hip hop/street dance classes in my training. However, most classes are very much catered to experienced dancers and not much for those starting out later in life, until now.
My hope is that people who love to dance, but don't have any formal training complete each HIP HOP 1 with a feeling of joy, energy, and confidence with new moves to pull out at socials, clubs and tense situations!
I'd like my HIP HOP 2 to provide adults who have dance experience with a chance to dance again without pressure or expectations, while encouraging them to challenge themselves and try new things. As well as for students who have taken HIP HOP 1 and looking to slightly bigger challenge with more choreography
Both classes will feature the teachings of the craft but also be filled with the historical context, meaning and background of the different hip hop styles I'll be teaching. At the end of the day, the true goal is to have a great time. To laugh, learn and love cultural dance that style that have already taken over the planet.
